Q. Why the micro wedding?
A. Once we discussed our values we realised quickly that we both loved the idea of an elopement. To ensure our mum's didn't disown us we compromised on a Micro Wedding. We always knew we wanted to have a big party with our friends and family to celebrate which is why there are two separate events.
Q. Is the Wedding Celebration your 'reception'.
A. Kind of, it's our non traditional reception. There won't be a sit down meal but there will be food, cake, dancing, drinking and lots of fun!
Q.What is the dress code for the Micro Wedding?
A. Cocktail style
Q.What is the dress code for the Wedding Celebration?
A. Dress like you are going to a party rather than a formal event.
Q. Are kids invited to the wedding?A. Unfortunately due to limited capacity we have not been able to accommodate children at the Micro Wedding. They are however encouraged to strap on their dancing shoes and join us on 1 December at our Wedding Celebration.
Q. Do you have a registry?
A. Your presence is the greatest present! If you do wish to bless us with a gift we will have a wishing well at our Wedding Celebration. Any Wishing Well gifts will be a contribution toward Archibald's hip dysplasia treatment and will be greatly appreciated.
Q. When I RSVP to the Wedding Celebration, the website refers to it as 'The Wedding', why is that?
A. As we are using one platform for two events we had to identify the larger of the two events as the main event, aka 'the wedding'. We understand it's a bit confusing but for clarity the Micro Wedding is 29 November and the Celebration is 1 December.
